cramping is usually normal in early pregnancy - but will be good to mention this to your midwife/doctor. One of the reasons stated is change in womb shape.

At the beginning of your pregnancy, you might have some mild cramps - period like pains, sometimes along with light vaginal bleeding. This can happen when the egg implants itself into your womb, and it's likely to occur around the time you would have had your period.

I have currently just found out I am pregnant with my second child after 1 serious ectopic in 2008. Also a few miscarriages. I am also getting cramps I am about 4 weeks an 6 days. I never had anything like this with my first child. Fingers crossed it will all be ok this time round.

I am five weeks pregnant today. I have very mild cramping. When I was at my doctors a couple of days they had said that this is normal in early pregnancy.

I have recently found out I am pregnant.. I am currently 5wks+2days pregnant.
4 days ago I experienced pink implantation bleeding along with dull aching cramps on my right side which wasn't even enough to penetrate a panty liner this lasted 2 days.
For the past two days I have now experienced brown implantation bleeding when I wipe which I am guessing is just old blood. But this time the craps were very sharp stabbing pains in the same place. They come and go but while they are there they last around 2-5 minutes.
I have been very constipated for at least a week and a half! and the cramps seem to be less painful after a bowel movement.
Has anyone ever experienced these symptoms or something like this in pregnancy before? I'm very worried.
Kay.
